Delete your Smart Calorie Tracker account and data

Effective date: May 1, 2026 · No sign-in required

You can delete your Smart Calorie Tracker account and all associated data at any time. Choose whichever method is easier for you. We complete every verified request within 30 days.

Option A. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open Smart Calorie Tracker on your iOS or Android device.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm with your sign-in method.

Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for deletion. Sign-in will be disabled immediately and all data is removed from production systems within 30 days.

Option B. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a message from your account email to support@smartcalorietracker.app with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request, delete your data, and reply to confirm, all within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Account record and authentication tokens.
• Profile data, including age, gender, height, weight, and goals.
• All logged data, including meals, exercises, water intake, and weight history.
• Uploaded photos (progress photos and food photos).
• Push notification tokens and reminder schedules.
• Saved preferences and custom foods.

What is retained, and why

• Anonymized aggregate analytics. Used to improve the app. Cannot be linked back to you.
• Support tickets. Retained for up to 2 years for quality and legal purposes.
• Transaction records. If you ever purchased a paid feature, the transaction record is retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
• Encrypted backups. Purged within 90 days after deletion.

Timeline

1. Day 0. You submit the request.
2. Day 0 to 3. We verify the request and disable sign-in.
3. Within 30 days. All listed data is deleted from production systems.
4. Within 90 days. Encrypted backups are purged.
